Mosaika Art and Design

A series of murals designed by Maria Berrio and fabricated by Mosaika for the NYCT Fort Hamilton Pkwy Station, commissioned by MTA Arts & Design. I worked with a large team to fabricate these murals using flat glass, smalti and tiles formed and glazed at Mosaika’s studio. Additionally, I was part of a four person team to install all fourteen mosaics.

Mosaika Art and Design

Two massive murals designed by Teresita Fernandez and fabricated by Mosaika for an office building in San Francisco, CA. Mosaika’s ceramic studio glazed the ceramic tiles and then each were hand cut in the studio. I was part of the large fabrication team and part of a three person installation team for these mosaics.


Yoko Ono. Sky. 2018.

Mosaika Art and Design

A series of mosaic murals designed by Yoko Ono and fabricated by Mosaika for the NYCT 72nd Street Station, commissioned by the MTA Arts & Design. The different murals read “Yes” “Remember Love” “Imagine Peace” using hand-glazed and cut ceramic tiles. I was part of the large fabrication team and part of a six person installation team for this project.


Jason Middlebrook. 2020.

Chatham, NY

Designed by Jason Middlebrook, this mosaic is made out of flat glass and glass smalti. I was in charge of ordering materials, fabricating this mosaic and determining a proper mounting solution.


Jason Middlebrook. Growing in the Mobile Delta. 2018

Designed by Jason Middlebrook for the federal courthouse in Mobile, Alabama for the GSA Commission, this mosaic was fabricated using glass smalti. There were seven mosaic, four of which measured between 15’ - 17’ and three measured between 7’ - 10’. I was part of a two person fabrication team and a three person installation team.
